The client, Noor Energy, wished to celebrate His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid while narrating the vision of the Government of Dubai in developing new sources of clean energy.

We curated this large-scale portrait, titled “A Clear Vision,” in collaboration with Lights and Lives. The space surrounding the portrait evokes the desert, the city of Dubai in its magnificent form, and the myriad mirrors that generate solar power.

The sun shining behind Sheikh Mohamed, illuminating the path,
traces the infinity symbol in the sky. This path, known in astronomy as the “analemma,” reflects the way the sun changes its position throughout the different phases of the year.
