ROAR

This is the Riyadh office of a USA multinational law firm, and the sophisticated look and feel delivered by Roar is completed by Ultra Arte’s art selection.

The client’s and ID’s desire was to add a touch of Saudi direction to the space, while not losing the corporate and brand’s identity.

We took two main approaches to deliver the Saudi tradition in a contemporary form: poetry and patterns.

Keeping the client’s values in mind, we selected a poem by Khalid AlFaisal, prominent cultural and political, and we commissioned calligrapher Hazem Kurdali with a 3D Arabic calligraphy sculpture, which we fabricated. We chose to use the brand’s color and the result is a contemporary looking sculpture in the entrance, full of meaning and bringing a dash of focal color, in an otherwise neutral environment.

We designed a pattern inspired by ancient local jewelry, and we used a distressed, three- dimensional texture to cover the columns across the offices.

The calligraphy work also became a 2D surface applied to the glass manifestations. Both concepts allow the narrative to flourish while making those surfaces interesting and vibrant.

Curation and Art Commissioning
Refined spaces demand thoughtful and context driven art selection. We curate and commission bespoke artworks that align with the architectural narrative and conceptual vision of each project.

Our process begins with a creative brief and extends through artist selection, sketches, prototyping, material research. Ultra Arte works in close collaboration with both local and international artists and galleries, ensuring each proposal remains conceptually relevant, culturally informed, and site-specific.

Production and Execution
In partnership with trusted technical consultants and fabricators, we manage the often complex engineering, production, and installation phases of diverse artistic works.

Our approach balances aesthetic intent, material innovation, technical feasibility, and cost efficiency, ensuring seamless execution without compromising artistic integrity.

Procurement
From exclusive private residences to large-scale luxury hospitality developments, we oversee the full procurement process, including purchasing, logistics, shipping, handling, and final installation, delivering a cohesive and fully realized art program.

We approach art consultancy as a critical aspect of a project. Art adds a deeper human, intellectual and spiritual layer to the space. It connects the functionality of an environment with the capacity of existing without a function, purely being made of meaning and aesthetic, resisting standardization.

Award of commercial interior design MENA
Ultra Arte has been awarded “best use of art in interior design” from Commercial Interior Design MENA, one of the most prestigious competitions in the region. The project has been praised for fostering local talent, adding the human layer to the space and connecting heritage with the modern vision, the way the UAE’s leadership excels in doing.
